A Day in the Life,  Dealing With Stress

Night Showers Soothe My OCD

When I wake up in the morning, the last thing on my mind is taking a shower. My eyes are still heavy with sleep and my mind is foggy, so showering is not something I want to do.

If I shower in the morning I’m likely trying to wake up and that’ll take a while. If I have to go somewhere early I either have to wake up earlier or rush to bathe. I like to be clean so rushing to shower ain’t happening.

So I don’t have to rush in the morning I take my time showering at night. I can stay in the shower as long as I want. I don’t like to not shower. I feel better after I’m clean. After a long stressful day, I love to feel better. Showering washes away a lot of my stress.

I also sleep better when I’m clean. Dirt stresses me out, so I clean. I clean myself because it makes me feel better. I won’t say that taking a shower is compulsive because it’s not. But showers are soothing.

I don’t get the same feel in the morning that I do at night. I need to do my self-cleaning routine at night, it’s better for me.

I am a personal blogger! I love to write and I love cookies and cake. And cheesecake. I love talking about my experiences in life. I like to write fiction and invent different worlds in my head. I enjoy watching movies, but I'm not a horror fan. I like watching Disney movies and hope to one day create a Disney Princess.
